Description
With an innovative design geared toward preventing entrapment, the Click-N-Go Extendable Bed Rail from Able Life one of the only bed rails approved for use on adjustable beds with wooden platforms. It is not intended to work on beds with metal frames. Supporting weights up to 300 pounds, the Click-N-Go Bed Rail extends in length from 23 to 30 inches to prevent nighttime falls out of bed and can also be used as a stand assist to protect against falls while transferring to and from a walker, wheelchair, or bedside commode. Caregivers will love the easy-to-remove handle when needing to change the linens, make the bed, or transfer a loved one from bed. To install the bed assist bar slide the base underneath the mattress. For installation on adjustable base beds, use the provided hardware to screw the railing to the wood bed base. The Click-N-Go Bed Rail is perfect for elderly seniors who are experiencing a lack of mobility, a fear of falling, or who need assistance while recovering from injury or surgery.

Q: Just purchased a metal adjustable bed frame and a 13 inch matress for my 89 year old mother. Is this compatible?

A: Hello Maria, thank you for your question. When using the Click-N-Go Bed Rail on an adjustable bed rail, it must be screwed into the bed frame. This means it will only work on adjustable beds with a wood platform and is not compatible with metal bed frames. Just installed this bed rail yesterday on a flexible bed frame. Just need a tape measure and a drill to predrill guide holes into make it easy the screw in the wood screws. Very easy to measure 12.5 inches and mark where the 6 screws go. The rail is very firm and sturdy. On our 13 inch mattress we could have used a little higher rail for grabbing to pull up in bed, but with the adjustable base we may find that raising the head of the bed higher may be the answer. Very new owners, so we are still in the learning stage.

Fits the bed
I bought this for my hersband because she started falling out of bed when we purchased a queen sized Ergomotion adjustable bed (we previously had a king size flat bed and I think the smaller size was simply disorienting to her.). I couldn’t find one that would work on an adjustable queen unless it was a hospital bed and that wasn’t our goal. We took a chance on this one, and voila! It works. I no longer have to worry about her going over the edge. Thank you!

EASY INSTALL
GOOD PRODUCT, EASY INSTALL. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 83 YR OLD MOTHER LAST MONTH. SO FAR IT HAS WORKED GREAT. THE BUTTON TO EXTEND THE RAIL IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT FOR HER TO PUSH BUT OTHERWISE WORKS GREAT.

My 74-year-old wife fell out of bed.
The doctor visit and x-ray cost a lot more than the bed rail. Thankfully ribs bruised not broke. I have installed the bed rail it was easy to due. She is safe now!

Fits perfectly & works very well!
I bought this for my 98 year old mother who has trouble lifting herself to a sitting position in bed. I tried other companies but none fit her bed. This bed rail can be adjusted to fit many different heights. It is easy to put together & easy to install. I highly recommend it.

Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Click and go extendable bed rail fits perfectly on my full-size bed. Easy to Assemble and install. slides under mattress and ties at the other end to keep it secure. A little wobbly but does the job And keeps me from falling off the bed. Love the extendable bar with the push of a button!
