Thanks for your feedback—we’re sorry to hear you didn’t get as many balloons inflated as expected. Our Medium Tank is designed to fill approximately 30 nine-inch latex balloons. However, many latex balloons sold today are 11” or 12" in size, and larger balloons require more helium to fill. Our medium tank will fill up to sixteen 12” balloons. Have more questions? Feel free to reach out to balloontime@wthg.com and our team will be happy to assist!

Helium probably not even helium
Balloons were inflated at about midnight and at 8 am most of the balloons were almost on the ground latex and foil. Very disappointing considering I wanting the balloons to be floating for my son to be surprised in the morning when he woke up. Do not buy.

Thanks for your review. To clarify, our tanks contain a helium/air mixture with not less than 80% helium, carefully formulated to float standard latex balloons for 5–7 hours and foil balloons for up to 4 days. Factors like balloon age, size, material, inflation, and even altitude can affect float performance. For even longer float times with latex balloons, use HI-FLOAT (sold separately), which prevents helium from escaping. If you have questions or need assistance, we’re always happy to help at balloontime@wthg.com!

The container ran out of helium before 30 ballon’s and the helium was not able to be refilled . The helium also did not with stand being blown up the night before party

There are a few common reasons balloons might not float as long as expected: 1. Balloon Age and Quality: Balloons that have been sitting around for a while may lose elasticity, making them more likely to leak helium or pop during inflation. For best results, use fresh balloons. 2. Balloon Weight: Some balloons—especially those with added decorations or printed designs—can be heavier, which may cause them to float for a shorter time or not at all. We recommend to always double check packaging that the balloons are intended to be used with helium. 3. Balloon Size: Our 5–7 hour float time is based on standard 9" latex balloons. Overfilled or underfilled balloons can impact float performance. 4. Knot Tightness: A tight knot helps keep helium sealed inside. Always be sure to pull the knot snug after tying to prevent leaks. Bonus Tip: For even longer float times with latex balloons, use HI-FLOAT (sold separately), which prevents helium from escaping.

Oh no—sorry to hear your balloons didn’t float! 🎈 We know how frustrating that can be, especially when you’re trying to celebrate something special. One common culprit? Some balloons are made just for air—not helium—so they won’t float even if they’re inflated with a helium tank. We recommend checking the balloon packaging or label to confirm that they’re helium-compatible. Still unsure? We’re here to help! Send us a photo or a quick note at balloontime@wthg.com, and we’ll take a look. We want to help you get the most out of your celebration.

Our balloons float for 5–7 hours. Float time is based on standard 9" latex balloons. Overfilled or underfilled balloons may impact performance.

Rip off!
Not worth the price! It’s honestly better to run to the store and pay their helium rate for quality lasting balloons. I was only able to fill up a few balloons before the tank ran out and they didn’t last long either!!

I wish I would’ve red the label- it only fills up 2 very large foil balloons. I had a number balloon and a character balloon. I had to get another take to fill the rest of my balloons.

Absolute rip off
Filled up about 5 balloons and they didn’t last. There’s no way to get rid of it after use. The link with “recycle” info is fake and their website just says “check locally”… can’t believe this place is even in business.

Previously great -- Now terrible
I thought the others reviewers were crazy as I have purchased these numerous times and the helium has lasted many days. Whatever this company has done has made this product terrible. Balloons only stay up for a few hours. Cannot decorate ahead of time. This is not a cheap product in price but is a very cheap product in use.

Helium didn't work.
Maybe it was just this specific tank, but the helium didn't work. It filled the balloons, but they didn't float. We tried Latex Balloons and Foil Balloons, The foil Balloons would turn upside down and kind of bob up and down at waist level. Latex Balloons floated for maybe an hour and then started falling to the ground. Made for a very disappointing birthday.

Hi there! We're sorry your balloons didn’t float as long as you expected — we know every moment of celebration matters! Latex balloons typically float 5–7 hours, but things like heat, humidity, balloon age and quality, and over- or under-inflation can shorten float time. It’s also important to make sure you pull the knot tight to seal the balloon. For a longer float time, use HI-FLOAT (sold separately), which coats the inside of latex balloons and helps them float longer. We’re here to help get your celebration back on track—just reach out to us anytime at balloontime@wthg.com.

Complete crap
The gas in this tank is 1 part helium to 15 parts fart. An absolute waste of time, money and balloons.

Used to be a helium tank
I’ve used these helium tanks forever and the most recent tank is terrible and I will never buy again. The Mylar ballon I blew up would not float and previously they did so well. The latex balloons that came with the box stayed up for two hours. My guess is they are filling partially with air now.

Buyer Beware
This tank barley filled 8 small latex balloons…And the ones that did fill- began to sink after only an hour or so… It hardly gave any air out at all… I do NOT recommend buying this product
