Q: Is there any glass on the clock? Or is the clear clock face plastic?

A: Hi Vivek, Thank you for your interest in our clock! Since it’s battery-operated, it will make a slight ticking noise. This happens because the internal gears and mechanisms move to push the hands forward, which naturally creates a sound. However, the ticking is very subtle and not as loud as one might think. Nice looking...wish it wasnt broken!
The clock looks really nice, perfect size for bedroom/bathroom but the inside clock arms fall off. The first clock delivered was cracked and had broken arms. Target sent a replacement and the arms fell off as we were taking it out of the box. I dont know if it is the poor packaging without any protection during shipping or if the clocks are just cheaply made!?!
