A: Yes it does come out and you should pop it out every time you clean it! We use these for milk and they started growing mold under the clear ring!

These suck
They dribble constantly and my son just never really took to drinking out of them. It is SO LOUD when they throw or drop them, a really hurt when they are dropped on your foot, and the straws can easily just be pulled through the tip. Nothing about them works in reality but the non-tox concept is great.

I almost didn’t buy this cup due to some of the reviews on the straw, but I’m so happy I did. We have had no issue with the straw and the cup overall has been great! My 11 mo old bangs it against everything constantly, and grips the straw between his teeth and rips it out and it’s still going strong. This is the only cup we have had that doesn’t leak at all. And with it being stainless, he loves getting ice and having his water stay really cold.

Great cup for a 9m+ year old. We’ve enjoyed it. But the straw didn’t last. First the little triangle pieces inside the straw broke off (assuming that was the valve to make it spill-proof), now the straw is literally splitting in two. Very frustrating since I can’t just buy a new straw.

Not sure why so many people are having difficulties with a child’s cup… it’s not 100% leak proof for sure but leak resistant. It’s very easy for adults to put together and for a child above 12 ish months to use. We have been using it for almost a year and I’m definitely ordering more.
