Would not recommend at all, I ordered it as a curbside order and nobody even noticed the lid was lopsided and refused to close. Overall the product looks super cheap and bound to break quickly.

"Locking" trash can that doesn't even lock
Not good. Maybe if it was $5 it would be ok. It is flimsy. The "lock" does not work. Even with it engaged the lid can still open. The lock mechanism needs to be longer or something. I bought this for a trash can for my bedroom/office. It is mostly paper and random stuff that it is used for. Nothing heavy. I wanted the lock to keep the dogs from getting into it. All they have to do is knock it over and the lid pops up. It holds trash so that is why I gave it 2 stars. Bags do not fit great, it is flimsy and "lock" is worthless. That is why it only got 2.

It does what it’s supposed to do, but it’s a bit flimsy. The lid doesn’t stay shut unless it’s locked, which can be annoying since I often forget to unlock it when tossing trash in. Other than that, it’s not bad for the price.

Trash can looks good in pictures. There’s a “lock” portion that doesn’t even work, and the top is misaligned with the entire trash. It’s flimsy and you get what you pay for.

i was hopeful this would be good but it is not. While it is light weight it is horrible. putting a bag in is a terrible experience. The “locking” mechanism is more of looks than functioning. i definitely would not buy again nor would i recommend it.

Nice design but cheap plastic

The plastic feels pretty flimsy overall and will likely not hold up well. The locking mechanism is helpful but does not work all the time or easily.

Great can and easy to clean

The Brightroom 46L Plastic step can is a great alternative to a can that is stainless steel because with the plastic one I don't have to worry about it getting dented. I also like that the plastic can looks like stainless but is so much easier to clean and doesn't require the special cleaners like stainless does. It's a perfect size and I really like the step feature so I can put things in trash without having to touch the can. I also really like that it has a lock on the lid to keep small kids and pets from getting into it!

The product is very chintzy. Not worth the money. When the lid is connected to work with the peddle, it sticks and won’t close. Poor quality for sure.

I love the locking feature on this garbage can. The pedal seems to be sturdy and work well. I dislike how easily this scratches especially on the metallic top. The plastic molding on the top shows peeling and the lesser quality of the product. This is a great affordable option with good bones, but not perfect

Simple yet Sleek
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I was interested in this can because we have a full sized dog who likes to get into the trash. The exterior of the can has a faux steel appearance making it look good wherever it's placed in our home. It is very lightweight but so far seems as durable as I would expect based on the cost. The lid has a lock setting which is a nice feature as well, however if the foot pedal is pressed hard enough, the lid will open. This will be a great addition to our home!
