Single Chair Assembly Flaws

Seems like nice quality, and everyhting needed to assemble seems to come with. However, either the design or the components for the single chair(s) are... way, way, off. The Bolt that fastens the back bar to the sides of the chair does not fit whatsoever. There is the possibility that I'm doing something incorrect, but the assembly instructions only contain pictures, and I've looked at them 100 times and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. An assembly tutorial video from the manufacturer would be extremely helpful, and make it more likely I'd purchase more furniture from them.
