Trees with these types of branches are designed to hold standard ornaments equally spaced and distributed around the tree, while located on the main branch sections. Regarding your question, it is not easy to answer, as it depends on the weight of each ornament, and where you place the ornament on the branches. You will have to determine if you are hanging too much weight on each branch by noticing if the branches start to flex downward with excessive weight like on any tree, live or artificial. A: While the lights technically are separable from the tree, they are held on with many clips and zip ties, and are not designed to be removed, so we do not recommend attempting to remove them from the tree, as it is easy to damage the tree in the process. A: Thank you for your interest in this product. Pressing the button on once should turn on the timer mode. You may have to cycle it through to OFF to make sure it is at the beginning of the 3 timer modes. The timer is designed to stay on for 6 hours, but the type of batteries you use may change this time slightly.
