Of the floating shelves that I have tried this is the best!. If you drill out the holes a little larger you can use toggle screws and your shelf can carry significantly more weight safely. One suggestion, instead of using the two bright silver stabilizing screws for the shelves to be affixed to the steel bars (they stand out against a black shelf), use dark grey drywall screws of sufficient length to just go through the steel bar and bite into the engineered substance directly above the steel bar. The dark grey blends in much better and the screws are designed to be used with engineered substances and bite much more easily.
