The description, even the title says 100% cotton…. It is not. It had a polyester cover and polyester fill.

Weighted blankets are great
We love weighted blankets AND this is a great one. The actual weighted blanket is polyester with glass beads. This will keep for a long time. The cover is a soft cotton/polyester blend and is machine washable. The cover is very soft. We took a pic of how you keep the blanket from scrunching up inside the cover. Weighted blankets help you sleep better. The deep consistent pressure feels like a hug all over and will have a calming affect to help reduce anxiety and stress. They also have claims of helping with ADHD and other cognitive issues. Just google it. My kids and wife use the 15 lb blanket, while I opted for the 20 lb. It seems to help sore legs as well for me. Great quality, even spread of the glass beads, and includes a soft cover equals a happy family.

LOVE THIS BLANKET
It's so soft and perfectly weighted. It's also breathable so doesn't make you feel really hot or overwhelmed by the weight. On the inside of the soft cover it has ties so that the weighted blanket itself does not move and stays in place. Really well manufactured, use it every day !'
