Auto empty has great intentions but vacuum sucks
This vacuume has good intentions but it’s junk the hole is to small on the carpet attachment. The suction is a joke you have to go over everything 4 to 5 times. That’s due to the hole plugging super fast. Also you can’t clean it. The thing is impossible to clean. The auto empty is great that’s what sold me this vacuum but there is a bad down side to it. The magnet that closes the lid afterwards fills with small metal partials there fore makes the lid impossible to close. I would not recommend this product. If you plan on using it for a long time.

Cordless vacuum is just what I needed
Love the power of the vacuum. It literally pulls me around the carpet vs me having to push it. It’s quick and light. My only down fall is it is quick catch the corner of a carpet runner and ‘jam’ up. But a quick off and on resets it.

Great for pet hair and long human hair
I bought this vacuum almost a month ago. I was looking for a vacuum that could handle long hair and pet hair without getting wrapped in the beater bar. I also wanted the feature of the auto emptying system to minimize dust getting into the air. This vacuum meets my expectations in those areas. I have not had to clean any hair off the beater bar and the self-emptying system works well with one exception which I will mention. I am concerned about the longevity of this vacuum. It feels flimsy and cheap, like it could break. So my family treats it carefully. The other flaw I discovered was the magnet system that locks dust trap on the vacuum attracts any metal that the vacuum picks up and I have to regularly clean the magnet so that the dust trough will shut properly and or empty properly.

Easy to use
This gets all the pet hair out of my carpet. The only issue I have is that it dont stand on its own. It is lightweight and easy to move around. Very durable and low maintenance.

Terrible!!!!
We’ve had this for 2 years & it only worked for the first couple months. It always says “PO” & flashes. It doesn’t properly suck anything up. It won’t properly empty itself. It’s a terrible vacuum. The main attachment also broke. Not sure if it’s the belt or not but will not work & it’s impossible to find replacement parts. Do not recommend!!!

I’ve been using the Shark Vertex DuoClean PowerFins for a few weeks, and it’s been a total game changer! The suction power is incredible — it easily picks up pet hair, crumbs, and dust from both carpet and hardwood floors. As a mom with two kids, one shedding dog, and chaotic snack times, the Shark DuoClean has been a total game-changer. The dual brush-rolls work like magic—nothing escapes, whether it’s Cheerios on the hardwood or sand in the carpet. I love that the “Lift-Away” feature lets me grab the canister and clean stairs, car seats, and upholstery without dragging the whole thing around. The suction is powerful, and it really shows what was hiding under sofas. Yes, it’s a bit on the heavy side, but for the level of clean I’m getting, I don’t mind the workout. Was great the 1st use but after that it's no better than any other vacuum.. Yeah it empties itself but it gets gunked up in the handle end clear cannister with dust & pet hair in the one spot that you absolutely can't get to at all to clean out. The trap door gets jammed with any tiny metal fragments the vacuum picks up & the doesn't close right & it's next to impossible to get the tiny piece of metal off of the door magnets which results in poor suction. After about 3 months the tube connectors wear & get wobbly and lastly, the battery life is very short.

BAD DESIGN OF CANISTER
Bought this a year ago. I hate it. The little plastic window in the canister that collects debris and you CANNOT empty it. I was told this is "normal". Also when you lift the vacuum off the stand you have to click the trap door closed, but sometimes there's debris all over it as well and it doesn't close. The debris is supposed to get all sucked into the bin but it doesn't always. Also only one attachment. By the time I realized I couldn't empty the little window, I was past the return. Save yourself your sanity and just buy a Miele.

Great feature but not worth the price tag
Cool function with the dirt detection but I always end up having it on the highest suction for normal everyday dirt and pet hair. Does not clean all the hair on carpets and just moves it around. Only had it about a year and the self cleaning is hit and miss for working and now the beater bar is doing weird stuff and stays on even when the vacuum is off.

Not really worth the money
I had high expectations for this vacuum because of the price. Unfortunately it lacks in a few areas. 1) pet hair can easily cause the roller to stop rolling even though it's not caught 2) pet hair and dirt clogs the vacuum and you have to empty the canister often (it's too small) 3) when you pull back towards yourself while vacuuming, it locks into it's stand up position so when you roll it away from you it's no longer actually on the floor anymore - it's in a right angle position. This to me is very very very annoying. It happens so much that I will likely try to sell it. I don't have time to keep pressing the vacuuming part with my foot to correct it. Sometimes I've swiped the floor .ore than once without noticing. Urgh!!!! 4) the power runs out very very fast. I cannot do my entire area I used to do with a lesser of a Shark cordless model. 5) you have to clean the big canister out a lot, it's also not very big. My robot vacuum has an auto suction canister as well but it compacts it so it holds a lot more. Overall definitely not worth the money and I will likely sell it.

Sucks up all the hairs, dirt, trash in one go without any issue. I love that the attachment is handheld to really get in the corners. Love how it is cordless, not too noisy, and when you put it for charge the dirt is automatically sucked out of the vacuum into a separate bin so the vacuum is empty for the next spin!

How awesome is that! When you put the vacuum back on its station it will automatically charge, no need to plug in any cable to it. The noise level is low, baby will not be alarmed with it, this tool is so powerful. Works great on any time of carpet and floors, vacuum will adjust to the type of floor you can hear it. I will never go back to any other vacuum, I love this shark vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The comparison between my previous cordless shark vacuum, and this cordless vacuum is a few things. There is a functionality difference where I don’t have to manually plug it up because the base charges it. The fact that I don’t have to vacuum every time is nice and I can continually vacuum each day several times a day and my base will last for about a week before I have to empty it. Is the previous vacuum had a trigger where I could make the vacuum suction stronger and this one didn’t. Overall, a great product.
