submitted byLV - 1 year agoA: Keep adding soap (2 drops at a time) they will eventually stop staying at the top (when turned on) and drop mid way and float back up. Hope this helps everyone.

submitted byLV - 11 months agoA: No you have to add good chemical free water- I’d use distilled water for mine. Trick is getting the air bubbles out of the tank and the jelly fish- into that precious ignorant lady who asked if the jellyfish were real bless your heart they’re made of synthetic rubber against a lot to take jellyfish out of the ocean and also if you get stung by a jellyfish would be in a lot of pain. You have a lot of skin damage in some cases you could die.

It works!
I got this for Christmas. It takes a little fenangaling to make it work correctly. I filled it up 90% and ran the mother to get most of the bubbles out, then filled it up the rest of the way. You want to chase ALL of the bubbles out. I found turning the jellyfish inside out and putting them in the water, then using the stick to turn them correct made it so there were no bubbles. The flat edge at the top can make it hard to get ALL of the bubbles out. I ended up using a bent coffee stirrer straw to suck the air out of the edges, and slowly fill it with more water. Then I ran it for a bit and let all the tiny extra bubbles I couldn't get come to the top and did the same thing. As long as there is no air, the jellyfish will flow. I can't speak on the moter because I haven't had this thing long, but I CAN tell you it does work if you play around with it :^)

Zero Stars Jellyfish Lamp
I bought two jellyfish lamps. The white one the jellyfish didn't want to float just sat at the bottom even with the motor running and the pink one the motor didn't work just the light. I contacted the company and all they said was to just buy a new one. No money back, no replacement parts, and no replacement lamp! ZERO STARS DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I love the concept. My daughters picked this out for their room as a night light. Immediately after opening my husband hit the “third” button, button does nothing but it popped out. By night 3 the jellyfish got caught in the motor but that was an easy fix. It’s currently exactly a month from purchasing and the motor doesn’t work, the power button is pushed in, some of the colors don’t work. Absolutely not worth $25… Don’t waste your money!

Have had this for 3 days and the jellyfish still don't swim. I've followed all the directions and tipped the jellyfish over numerous times to try and get airbubbles out, to no avail. And it's quite noisy. It's a shame because this was going to be a gift to my daughter. Glad I tested it first!
