Q: When you first get this lamp is the wax supposed to be solid in the bottom? I purchased this one and one that was a different color and in that one the wax is a round solid piece floating inside.

A: Most of them will come with the wax at the bottom. But depending on how they've been handled, you can get the wax stuck to the side, or in a ball. It shouldn't make a diference.

Q: Mine won’t like do the bubble things. It either stretches but never does anything else or doesn’t move. I’ve left it on for hours to warm it up and even turned it off to let it cool I don’t know why it does this?

Do not waste your money on this garbage
Literally worked for less than 12hrs on Christmas Day and now it will not turn on. The bulb still works bc we placed it in another one and it turned on just fine. It wasn’t dropped. Nothing happened it just turned off and will not turn back on.

Worst Lava Lamp Created
If you want a lava lamp, do not waste your money on this one - better yet, do not purchase any lava lamp at Target. I bought this lamp on 11/08/2025 and already it doesn’t function like a lava lamp. The gel inside the glass has coagulated and does not separate like a lava lamp is supposed to. It’s disappointing and I’ve wasted $25, do not do the same.
