The compass will not hold its position. It makes uneven looking ovals because it won't stay in position to make a circle. ALL of the 5 star reviews look FAKE BTW. Notice how they're all one sentence long from folks w no last name? Those are FTC banned fake reviews!!!!

This kit comes with 10pcs, my 4th grader was excited when we got this and she opened it up! She takes it with her to school since it’s compact!

Good quality for an unbeatable price.

The compass in the geometry box is cheaply made.No matter how much I tried, the screw would not work and won't hold the pencil. Have lost the top cover, too bad cannot return.

Order was for blue box, but was given black. So my son had to keep it.

For $6 you'll get an eraser. Throw out the compass & pencils, you'll lose the protractors, and you're left with an eraser / pencil sharpener set. Buy a real Staedler set on the other big box mega store website. THIS IS JUNK. Compasses do not stay in place, and the leads don't stay in place. Total waste of money!

I'm a senior in college, and am studying for a degree in mathematics. I got this a few years ago as a kind of joke, but I have used it faithfully for since then. It has its own pocket in my backpack, I always bring it to class with me, I use this all the time. I'm not the most careful person (generally wind up breaking rulers and pencils within about twenty minutes) so this has taken a LOT of abuse... and at three years old it still works perfectly. My school supplies in order of importance: pencil/pen, paper, this mathkit, whiteout, tape, etc. I'm not joking this is probably the best purchase I have ever made. I see everyone else in the reviews is talking about how their kids love it, but I am 21 years old and this is one of the best things I have ever owned. (I am entirely serious by the way, I am just very passionate about this math kit, it's helped me out so much)

Bought it for my kid, quality is well worth the money

This little kit contains all the essentials that I need to draw precise circles and arcs when my toddler wants to create some kind of masterpiece. It was well packaged and the case is quite sturdy. I haven't used one of these since high school but I would def recommend to any student that needs one, this a very good kit.
