A: The blue light is mostly contained and directed to the inside of the trap and glows towards the wall near the wall socket, not out towards people. It's to catch bugs not bother people.

A: Refills are sold separately or they are included in box with initial product. They are reasonably priced. Replace refill when sticky area is getting full and replace with a fresh one. Easy.

A: No. I haven't had a spider caught yet. Spiders don't fly and usually have their webs high or low in a room. Best to use those folding sticky traps against a wall on the floor. That'll catch them.

A: There are many moth traps out there. Also, can use cedar, lavender, rosemary, cloves, citrus (oils, sprays, etc.) to repel them. Cedar works beautifully in closets and other areas. Smells good too.

It actually does work
For those who say this doesn’t work, this photo is of my daughter’s room after just 2 days of using it. We live in a tropical climate, and after a week of heavy rain, mosquitoes were getting into our home and leaving awful bites on her skin. After buying multiple insect repellents and calamine/hydrocortisone creams to treat the bites, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying this. I didn’t go in with high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a significant number of biting insects trapped in such a short time. I’ll be purchasing another one for our room as well, since my boyfriend tends to get bitten too.

We have graduated from a couple singles to the new cylindrical plug-in unit. The plug allows the unit to be placed more easily as the unit is not confined to the space of an outlet. Nothing in trap after 1mo.
Tried these for pantry moths. Used over 1 month. Caught NOTHING. Will only catch insects that fly into trap and near the sticky pad. The light does nothing to attract them! These got rid of pantry moths https://a.co/d/8CQPt4Q ACVinegar works best for fruit fly. Add a tiny bit of over-ripe banana.

We know how frustrating moths can be, and are sorry Zevo didn't work well for you. If the light is on and the trap isn’t catching bugs, it may have to do with placement. The traps work best when they’re in spots that are easily accessible to flying insects. Avoid placing in spots where it’s hard for flying insects to access, like behind furniture, curtains or other tucked-away spots. The trap can be effective in the daytime, but more natural daylight = more competition for the trap. Therefore, to maximize daytime efficacy you would want to place the trap in a darkened room or at least a shadowy area. So we can help further, please call us at (866) 215-1297.

Meh.
Tried it… didn’t work… feels like I have more and am constantly trying to “pop” them as my 4 year old tells me to do and claps… I feel soapy sugar water would kill more than a blue light… they won’t go away and my kiddo loves fruit. — this device just leaves me frustrated and out of $25 bucks
