Very happy with this AC, i bought a 2nd one.

I love this unit. I originally bought the midea 12000 btu from the tiktok shop and it had issues so I returned it and purchased this. I wanted a mini split but the install was too expensive. This unit was easy to install. My son and I got it all set up in about 30 min. It’s very cold and has a quiet mode which I love at night. I bought this for my son’s room which is about 250sqft and it gets so cold we open the door and cool the upstairs down. I have a portable LG 7000btj in my room but it’s leaking all over and I got tired of emptying buckets of water every morning so I ordered another 12000 btu unit for my room and it should be delivered tomorrow. If you’re shopping around for one, I would try this brand. It works so well and a plus is that it doesn’t obstruct any view from the window as it sits on the window seal And goes below the window. Your able to bring the blinds down, use a curtain and block all the sunlight from the window, unlike the midea unit and other window units and the part that is on the inside of the window is pretty thin, doesn’t take much space at all. I really love this AC unit.

Minimal window obstruction

The unit is one piece that must be installed level in all directions. It is quiet and has many features to control the environment. It has the sleep feature and a timer. There is also a pump that will pump out water in the front compartment. This pump filter has to be cleaned from time to time. The pump is quite loud when it pumps once every 10 minutes or so. This may not be a unit for the bedroom. The unit U area is only 11 inches front to back But then there is a support plus locking nut reducing the area to about 9 inches. In have an old house with about 13 inches interior window trim to brick ledger so this will not work unless I cut out the brick ledger. I do have one window in the mud room that will accommodate the units depth so I installed it there. I have to leave the French doors to the house open to allow the unit to cool properly. I like the unit but had I known the limitations of this unit in my house I would have chosen a ductless unit.
