Magical Duck Race provides major bath time fun! Attach the Magical Duck Race to a flat surface on the bottom of the bathtub. Secure all three suction cups, ensuring that the fountain is level. Fill the bathtub with water. Turn on the fountain by pressing down the green leaf leaver and allow the water track to fil and place the ducks within to begin the race. Magical Duck Race encourages your child to catch a duck, promoting hand/eye coordination through play. Introduces children to concepts such as: full/empty, float/sink.

Q: Most bathtub toys that say they need batteries are designed to obviously be waterproof. Does this particular bathtub toy have a battery compartment that is sealed?

A: Hi there, Great question — we’re happy to clarify 😊 The Yookidoo Magical Duck Race does use batteries, and the battery compartment is located on the underside of the fountain unit. This compartment is fully sealed when closed properly. All of our Yookidoo bath toys are rigorously tested to IPX7 waterproof standards (the same standard used for waterproof watches), which means they are designed to be fully sealed and safe for use in water. To ensure continued performance and safety, we recommend the following: Always make sure the battery compartment is closed tightly after inserting batteries Use good-quality, non-rechargeable batteries (we do not recommend rechargeable batteries for bath toys) If the toy will not be used for an extended period, please remove the batteries to prevent any possible leakage If you have any other questions about the Magical Duck Race or any of our products, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help!

Q: I see it requires four AA alkaline batteries & most bathtub toys that say needs batteries are designed to be waterproof, meaning the battery compartment is sealed. So my question is is this waterproof/submersible & the battery compartment is sealed??

Q: Can you use this on a kiddy pool

While it might work in a kiddie pool, it depends on the pool's surface and water level. For best results, we recommend using it in a shallow area with a flat surface to ensure proper suction and water circulation. If you're trying it in a kiddie pool, just make sure the motor unit is fully submerged and stable.

Hi, We’re sorry to hear that your toy stopped working after just a few months — that’s certainly not the experience we want for our customers. In general, all our bath toys require special care to avoid damage and ensure they last longer. Have you been rinsing the toy well in clear water after each use to remove any soap residue, then allowing it to drain and dry out? Every few uses, we also recommend a thorough cleaning by filling a bucket with water, adding a bit of vinegar, and letting the toy soak for about 20 minutes. Then rinse it off and dry it with a cloth or paper towel. Please also make sure to remove the batteries if the toy isn’t being used for a long period. If you can hear the pump running when you press the button but no water is coming out, it’s likely that air is blocking the pump. In that case: 1. Stop the operation and shake the body for a few seconds out of the water to release trapped air. 2. Place it back in the water and turn it on again. 3. If it still doesn’t work, keep the pump running while soaking the toy in water for about 20 seconds. Ugh. Ours stopped working after a few months which is so sad because my daughter loved playing with it during bath time.

Try stopping the toy, shaking it out of the water for a few seconds, and then placing it back into the water to restart. A Favorite at bath time
We LOVE this bath toy! The little birds shoot different types of water streams, and the little donut part moves the rest of the birds around in a circle. My almost 2 year old loves it, and my almost 5 year old loves it too! The only advice I have is to put the toy in first, then fill the tub. If the water goes above the donut ring part, that water feature part won’t work (the birds just float off bc it’s submerged), but the water spout top still works! Would definitely recommend to anyone with kiddos that like playing in the tub!

Nonstop fun!
This bath toy has provided countless hours of entertainment! My five year old and one year old are equally entertained so this is a toy that you can expect longevity from. The music feature can be turned on and off and the only drawback is that it will be hard to pull your kids out of the bath tub!

Really cool bath toy.
Super cute bath toy! I haven’t seen anything else like it. I got it for my one year old but my 4 yr old loves it too. The ducks can cause water to splash in the face so that took a bit for the small one to understand but it’s a good learning tool for them to get use to water splashing them. The little ducks are so cute.
