Ok, so I'll start with the 'cons' first... the lights don't stick very well. I put the bed together and I noticed one small section of them already hanging down. (They are attached by a sticky back along the underside of the outer frame. All one long peice similar to rope lights, except flat.) This is not necessarily a con for me, because I have a comforter hanging over the edge anyways, so you don't really see the lights. Another 'con' is that you do see the legs, so it doesn't quite have the floating effect like the photo dictates. Again, for myself, this isn't an issue since I have that comforter hanging. I didn't purchase this for that trait. I just liked that the legs were further back to help prevent toes stubbings. :D One other 'con' is that the frame is about an inch or two wider than my mattress. I admit I didn't actually measure my mattress, and it is a very old one, so I'm hoping when I get a new mattress, it will be a more perfect fit. It's not something that I'm worried about though. Now onto the 'pros'... I haven't used it for long yet, but it feels very strong and sturdy. I don't forsee any issues as far as stability goes. It was easy to put together, and everything lined up properly. The instructions don't have much in way of wording, but the diagrams are very easy to follow. The only part I had some troubles with, were the lights. I couldn't quite tell exactly which side of the frame I was supposed to attach them to, I just assumed it was the underside (but there are screws and bolts that stick out a little, so the lights don't stick flat along the entire frame.) I was debating even bother putting them on, since I knew about my comforter situation, but went ahead and attached them. The electrical portion can be placed on either side, so you can place it closest to your wall outlet. Keep in mind... the underbed lights do need to be plugged into a usb slot (which is included with the attached outlet strip,) so you may want to make sure to line up the lights so the plug in portion of the lights is near the electrical box. (Also side note: the lights DO NOT go around the entire bed frame. The headboard end of the bed will be left unlit... or I suppose the footbaord end, if you prefer.) It did take me some time to assemble, but I was in a somewhat cramped space, working alone and not really in a rush. If you have two people, you can get it together in probably 20ish minutes. (Alot of the directions were duplicate, (doing the same step to various postions of the bed,) so you can have one person working the top end and the other working the bottom end. Or left side and right side... ect.) Those few 'cons' are the only reason I didn't give this frame a full five stars. Even though they weren't necessarily cons for me, they were things that people may expect and be disapointed with. For the price, though, I'd say this was a close to five stars as it can get.

he floating effect is REAL – friends thought I hired an interior designer! Metal frame feels rock-solid. Charging ports are tucked neatly on the side (no visible cords!). LED lights cast a soft glow – perfect for midnight snack runs. Best upgrade ever.

Turned my basic bed into a showstopper! The hidden LEDs make it float like magic. Side-mounted outlets keep cords off the floor. Took 2 people 45 mins (watch for LEFT/RIGHT metal beams!). Feels industrial-chic. My cheapest room transformation!

Was skeptical if ‘floating’ could hold weight – BOY WAS I WRONG. Heavy-duty metal bars support my king mattress + me jumping on it (don’t tell Target!). LED lights have 20 brightness levels. Charging hub doesn’t overheat. 10/10 for durability

Upgraded from a squeaky wood frame – this metal one is LIBRARY-QUIET. LED path lights saved my toes AND my sleeping kid (no bright lamps!). Charging hub has surge protection (peace of mind). Feels anchored despite ‘floating’ look. Genius design

Open frame = no pet hair fortresses. Metal bars are easy to wipe clean. USB-C port included (yes!). Remote has battery saver mode. Looks like a $2000 bed – shocked at the price. Worth every cent.
