Q: can I use a 40V battery on the charger and then blower for a large amount of leaves? in other words, buy extra battery?

A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. This tool operates with two 20V batteries docked on at the same time to function. That being said, you are able to purchase batteries separately! Great lightweight blower that is very versatile!
I love this blower!! it is so powerful for being so lightweight and easy to handle. It can do leaves or dirt or grass equally well. It has great battery power and lasts for a good long time. I highly recommend this lower for its power and lightweight balance.

Three speed switch only works on two
This blower when the speed switch worked was great,but that was only for one season.

Mostly satisfied with this blower
It does a pretty good job, but I'm a bit disappointed in the battery life. My basis for comparison is another brand's 40V blower which I've had for several years. That one has a single, larger 4Ah battery that allows me to clear my 300 ft driveway plus a turn around/parking area. The two Worx 4Ah batteries give out sooner, but I own two 2Ah batteries from my weed trimmer, so I can finish the job with those. I ordered the Worx blower for two reasons-- lighter weight and lower decibels. It meets those criteria, so no regrets. (Although, the high pitch of the sound on settings #3 and Turbo are a problem for me because of inner ear issues, which most people don't have.) I just have to accept the drawbacks of both products. The "K" blower allows me to work longer, but I tire more easily. As I age (now 78), this is an issue because of arthritis, some tendonitis and a bum shoulder. So I know I'll get more use out of the Worx blower.

Lightweight and easy to handle.

Multipurpose uses for nitro leafjet!

Just ok. Doesn't have the power I expected. Batteries lasted about 20 minutes on level 2 power. Light weight and easy to hold on to.

Dead on arrival
Unit is nice light weight, but will not run, indicate a battery failure but both batteries indicate full charge.

Really powerful, light weight and quiet!
For a battery powered leaf blower this is powerful, light weight and qu Biet. I love the different settings and turbo boost button. It has the tube adjustment for narrow or wide air flow which works nicely, it is so easy to use.My teenage daughter even likes using this. I have used one other leaf blower from cobalt and this is way more powerful, light weight and quiet than that one was. I have had other worx tools for year's and they are great. I highly recommend the Worx brand. I really love the ability to check the amount of battery life left on each individual battery, as well the life of both batteries combined on the tool. Overall I was pleased and quiet impressed with the power and performance of this tool.

Disappointed
I have numerous WORX products and always liked them except this one. I have an extreme problem with the battery run time. I can get maybe 20 min on the low speed but that defeats the purpose of getting it. On high speed I get 10 min or less. I cannot get much done with that. I am going to a different product. Problem is I cannot in all honesty sell this to someone else. I will keep the batteries and charger as I can use those on my other products and just throw the blower away.

Best Blower
