It came rolled up and sealed with care instructions in the inside. After unboxing, it does take 2 days for the wrinkles to come out of the rug and lay flat. It says to spot clean only which is easy to care for. You do not need a carpet cleaner or have it professionally cleaned. It’s not too flat but it is not too plush either. It is soft. It is made from durable material. When I unboxed the rug I did not notice an odor. The neutral color rug matched well with my living room decor.

Some of the beige brown swirls look like dirty spots like it was an after thought, but other than that the colors make it very versatile to go along with many flooring and wall colors. The backing is not slip proof so it slid freely around my floor until I placed a rug slip mat underneath it. It did unroll nicely and wrinkles and flipped edges smoothed out in a couple of days. It was packaged well for shipping and even had end cap protectors. The plastic wrap that laid against the rug fibers left and imprint that is still present after two vacuuming sessions. I have had to spot clean it already with having a dog, but it cleaned up with ease. No evidence of the muddy paw was left behind. The rug fibers are soft and feel nice on the feet. Overall I like this product and would be interested in seeing more from the company. I would recommend to family and friends.

When my wife saw it placed upon the floor, we are now replacing our hallway runner and step pads to match this design. Take that how you will. It’s a perfect 5x7 and has some weight to it. It’s extremely soft and has stood up against my 8 year old playing on it constantly. Again, it’s a very nice rug.
