World of Chia Blackberry Fruit Spread is made with chia seeds instead of pectin. Our premium chia spreads are sweetened with Organic Agave Nectar, and therefore have a low glycemic index, and are diabetic-friendly. The mucilage around chia seeds is the gel that helps us thicken our fruit spread, has a soothing effect on the intestinal tract, and helps improve digestion.
