It was very easy to assemble and I loved being able to adjust the size of the shelves. I am using this to organize all of my work paperwork and products and everything fits great! I was also able to put some heavier products on top of the shelf and it is holding up great. Overall this is a great organizer and the perfect addition to my office!

The organizer is very sturdy and fits perfectly on top of my desk. It's a great quality product. I use it in my home office to organize my papers. I love that the shelves are removable so I can store my books standing upright. The only thing I wish it had, is a place to label each section.

It was relatively easy to put together. The instructions were clear and all the parts needed were included. It probably took me about 20 minutes to fully put together all of the shelves etc. the quality and design are great. I needed a place to separate and organize my paperwork in a more efficient manner (than piles on my desk) and this completely solved my problem. I only wish I had this product sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The document organizer is a great way to contain and sort a large volume of paper and other small objects. In my house, we use it as a command center to organize permission slips, documents that require action, papers to file, incoming/outgoing mail, etc. We also use it to corral small objects, like a cup we need to return to school or a key that needs to go back on a keychain. The document organizer was relatively easy to assemble. The only tool necessary was a hammer to hammer in the back panels. The back panels do need to be hammered in however. I left mine off initially because I wanted to make the document organizer accessible from both sides and it was pretty wobbly. I like that the shelves can be arranged however you want, making this organizer very customizable to your needs. Overall, this is a great product for organizing your documents! The organizer took about 15 minutes to put together and I like that you can choose how tall to make each shelf - I did a variety of sizes to accommodate my kiddo's stuff. It has a pretty small footprint so I am able to keep it in our common area for storing his school papers and art supplies. With four kids and a busy on the go lifestyle, it seems like I never have time to sit down and sort through all the papers that come into our home. So I was excited when I found out I would be receiving the AdirOffice 12-Compartment Wood Literature Organizer to try out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first reaction when I received the organizer was how heavy the box was. The pieces to assemble the organizer are solidly built and I was impressed that everything is included for assembly except a hammer. I am not the biggest fan of building things so I felt a little bit overwhelmed with all the pieces at first but when I looked through the directions and diagrams I was able to get started right away. It did take longer than I anticipated to build, as you need to take the extra steps of gluing each wooden dowel and nailing the back panel pieces on. But it is worth it when you are finished because it is a solid piece and worth the extra time to have an organizer that will last. Besides how solid and durable this literature shelf organizer is, I also appreciate how versatile it is. You can use all of the shelves included which makes twelve storage spaces, or you can customize the spaces to include larger spaces on one or both sides. It can grow with you as your life or work needs change. For me, it’s the perfect time right before school starts to set up a station where each kid can have their own shelves for school papers and homework on one side. And for the other side a place for me and my husband where incoming and outgoing mail and various documents can have a home. Even though I really like this organizer, I need to point out some things that could use improvement. For one thing, there was no color photo included of the complete assembly to refer to which made it hard to tell which direction the edge protectors for the shelves were supposed to be placed. It isn’t a huge deal but it would be nice to know if the edge with the lip is supposed to be on the top or underside of each. Also, I received a white unit with black edging pieces and I would have preferred white to match. Another challenge was I accidentally nailed through the top shelf so there is now a bump which will probably chip off over time. It would be great to have suggested nail guides on the back panels to ensure you don’t get too close to the edge and have the same issue. They also say on the instructions to place wooden dowels on the top four holes of the unit but that doesn’t seem necessary unless you are stacking another unit on top, which isn’t clarified in the instructions. I just left them empty. Another challenge I encountered after I already had the unit fully assembled was I realized I had the number 5 center shelf flipped so the holes on 3 and 4 didn’t line up flush but they do line up horizontally so I was able to have all the shelves level at least. It is hard to tell on the diagram that there is different spacing on the holes in the front and back. And I didn’t end up using the white plastic fillers as I may decide to change the layout of the organizer and they didn’t seem necessary and were too small to fit in the holes without gluing them in place permanently. The price tag might be more that I would pay for home organization but would probably be appropriate for a work place investment piece. Overall I’m happy with this shelving unit and would recommend it. I look forward to becoming more organized in the coming months. I also see the great potential to use this if I ever get to have a craft room again or in a designated office area. I wanted to attach it to the wall buy there was really no good way to do so without extra hardware and wall reinforcement. The product is very sturdy, all except the backing which was not square and protrudes slightly from the side. Assembly was easy and the directions were easy to follow. It can hold a lot of paper, however, nothing larger than standard size. The shelves are very easy to reconfigure as well.

The part are all individually numbered to help easily follow the instructions. This is a very simplistic design that makes organizing simple. We are using it in our kids playroom to organize their coloring books / arts supplies. It works wonderful for the purpose we are using it for. A teacher friend keeps threading to steal it because it’s the perfect size to organize supplies. It is also sturdy enough for our everyday use. It has multiple options to add or remove as many shelves as you’d like which allows for a multitude of uses.
