Wonder Factory Never Dry Dough & Sand Starter Set - Red Dough + Yellow Sand

The sand was incredibly soft and satisfying to play with, and she loved exploring the different textures. Unfortunately, the dough itself was quite dry and crumbly, which made it harder to use than expected. One highlight was the bottle and lid textures—those added a fun element by allowing her to create interesting patterns and designs. Overall, she enjoyed the sensory experience, especially the sand, but the dough quality could be improved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept of it is great. When we opened it, there were two kinds the sand and the dough. The dough would not pull apart and was just crumbly. When you would try to smash it back together or do any type of play with it wouldn’t even stick together. My kids were able to take turns with the sand. Luckily it was very easily to clean up and fits right back into its container for easy storage. It’s nice because it kept the kids busy for a good 20 to 30 minutes.

The playdough side is very soft and fun to play with. The sand is great too but it's a little more crumbly than expected. Still a nice, cheap purchase for a bit of fun! It is a wonderful toy that really doesn't dry out and the smell is very unnoticeable. The only thing I didn't like is that it is such a small amount you can't really do too much with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok. So. This sounded like a great idea, but the packaging isn’t air tight enough to keep it fresh. The tops don’t stay on well either. They are crumbly and messy and not something I would want to purchase again or allow in my house.

It is double sided, and seems to be safe for the kids. I would not buy this if I were to be out looking for something. The value is ok.

I love that it comes with the dough and the sand plus the tools in the same container. The container acts as a rolling pin and has stamps for the dough and sand on the end caps. This is so great for young children to play with and have versatile options on how to be creative all in one product! This would make the perfect gift.

He loved how soft and moldable the blue portion was — it made his little project come out so cute. The purple dough, however, was a bit hard and tough to break apart, especially for his small hands. He’s only 5, so it was a little challenging for him to use that color as much as he wanted. Overall, it’s a fun and creative sensory toy that kept him entertained and proud of his creation. With a little more softness in the dough, it would be absolutely perfect!

I do have a problem that my child only only got to use it once and it feels super dried out and it was closed. I do think it’s good for a person with disability and sensory but needs to be stored differently.

I was very excited to receive Wonder Factory’s Never Dry Dough And Sand Starter Set complimentary in exchange for my honest review. Honestly, this is the first sand/dough set I would ever recommend!!! My child has a sensitivity to smell, and this is the first dough play set that did not bother her! The dough has a light, pleasant scent! The sand is soft, and normally my child asks for gloves to play with sand, but this sand has such a soft texture, she didn’t not ask for gloves once. The toy comes with a few molds to help play with the sand and dough and were fun to use. The real test was we did leave both the dough and sand out and exposures to air for quite some time, and it never dried out!!! This is a great gift for any child!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Giving it a 3 star. The sand was great, my daughter absolutely loved it. We loved the packaging and how it was 4 n1 tools to play in it with. However, we are a little disappointed in dough. Straight out the package the dough was hard. No matter how much I tried to squish it together it just made it break apart.

I think the design is really great and I like how you get 2 different options in one item. When you first open the dough side it is a little tough but once you start playing with it and warm it up its very fun to play with. It's like a mix between dough and slime, its super satisfying. As for the sand, I am really not a fan of it. It crumbles and makes a mess easily. They both have a weird scent to them but the sand side is much stronger. I do love how they never dry out though. I think this is a great toy for what it is and for the price point I think it is well worth your money. Any kid would love this!
