Sizing is really off! I have these jeans in blue. Size 4 is a touch snug, but loosens up with time. Bought the same size in black, they are about 8 sizes too big! I can fit another person in these. The tag says 4 R, but clearly not size 4! 5’6” 130lbs.

This is like a Zara's Mariner jeans dupe, except Zara's has 2% stretch which makes it way comfier than Target. Target's Sailor jeans only has 1% stretch which makes this pair of jeans very stiff, and the waist is definitely tight and can be uncomfortable. The ankle length is definitely great for petite women. The 3 stars is for the inconsistent sizing. I ordered a 0short and 00R, and the waist is identical. Only the length was different. I've ordered 00R in various colors, and they all fit differently. Target, if you add 1% more stretch to your Sailor jeans, the waist would be a more comfortable pair of jeans and offer a better fit. Thank you for finally offering SHORT sizes for us petite women!

These are so good!!! Can’t recommend enough, so comfortable and flattering. For reference I’m 5’3 / 165lbs and the 12 short is perfect, even a taaaddd loose :)

I love the stretch and fit but they are not ankle pants on me at 5 ft 4.

Looked great on a 5'6" influencer where their ankles showed but even with the short option, on my 5'4" frame instead of above the ankle, it hits below my ankle like regular pants.

The sizing of these pants is all over the place from color to color. If you can get the correct size they look so cute when you put them on. But then after wearing them a few hours you look like you slept in them. After washing the fabric becomes so stiff and wrinkled.

Perfect jeans. I’ve been on a Jean hunt for a while and these are perfect. I’m so happy Target finally came out with some short jeans. They fit my perfect 5” body. I wish they had more!

I really like these jeans but y’all charged me $35.00 but the tag said they were $28.00 that’s so wrong.

I was thrilled to see that these jeans had a LONG inseam option. For a 5'10" gal, these are perfection. They hit right at the ankle for an on trend style. They look great with sandals or boots. Very flattering without onseam front pockets. Love them!

Great trendy jeans. If you have any type of height or have long legs get a long inseam. They will shrink and a regular inseam will be too short on you. I wish they had more colors in the long!

Love the look, fit and fabric

Ok. So, I did return BUT only because I’m short. 5’4. They are much too thick/stiff to be full length jeans - they need to be more flowy/lighter material to look good. Being 5’4 it hit about an inch off floor, which is an awkward length. However, if I was taller and they hit the correct length, they would be adorable. They are very comfy and well made, just said they didn’t make a petite version.
