these pants saved my knee. I had an accident and fell on my knee there is a fracture and a torn pcl. however the skin injury would have been worse if it wasn't for the pants. there was of course a lot of skin damage but the fabric stood in tact. I really think had I been wearing anything else my skin breakage would have been worse.
