Designed specifically for use with watercolor and water based media, Cotman brushes are composed of a blend of synthetic fibers of different thicknesses. The thicker fibers contribute strength and spring, while the thinner fibers improve color holding capacity. Together they retain a perfect point, time after time.

Nice brush for the money
Professional fine artist....have used Cotman brushes many times. Good economical brush that holds a decent point. Certainly not a series 7 sable of which I have, but then again, you could buy 10 of these to one of those.

#2 seems identical to #3 rigger
A beautiful rigger brush. I already had a size #3 and ordered this #2 hoping to get a finer line. But it looks and acts exactly like the #3.
