Wild Planet Skipjack Wild Tuna - Case of 12/5 oz

This tuna tastes great and I appreciate that is is not mush when you open it and have to drain out a ton of water. Very little liquid in this one. Add mayo, celery, and onion and it makes a great tuna salad. I will be buying again.

I got it for me to have on hand: I’ve always loved tuna, and skipjack is the most flavorful. Turns out my boyfriend loves it even more, so I order it continuously to maintain the inventory.

I have been using Wild Planet tuna for YEARS and know that it is the best tasting and best catching on the planet. I also understand there is the least amount of mercury in this brand.

It may be expensive, but it is the best available in my opinion.

I love this tuna and I love the taste. I usually just by singles, but opted for the bulk option since I eat so much of it. Solid tuna at a solid price (I suggest buying in bulk)

I was surprised that I preferred the Skipjack over Yellowfin. The flavor was milder and, to me, more palatable while my son preferred the Yellowfin. Kids! Such a child!! Either way, a notable difference over store bought.

I could not believe my eyes the moment I looked down to see a horribly overcooked. For what you charge per can you should be embarrassed, utterly destroying a wonderful piece of fish. This fish at this price point should be fork tender and ready to eat from the can. Instead I was served tuna hockey pucks. Absolutely dismayed and disappointed.

If you read any of my other reviews, you will discover that i will say each one of them is 'one of my favourites', because they are all favourites! All of Wild Planet products are delicious. I use their products because they are highly rated in sustainable fishing practices. If we want to enjoy good food and good fish in particular, we need to be eating only fish from the most highly respected/reputable fishing companies. I cook very simply: a lot of my meals consist of rice, cooked greens, Wild Planet tinned fish, and whatever condiments i think will add some pizzazz. It is always tasty, highly nutritious, and very easy to prepare. Skipjack Wild Tuna is delicious in everything i've tried. When i want to be fancy i make a Salade Nicoise and it really impresses my partner. All of Wild Planet tinned fish makes any meal i make look and taste fantastic! What's not to love about that!
