Excellent product

I’ve had other portable air conditioners, but this Whynter ARC 1230 is the big dog ! Even on 90° days it cools down my 28 x 17‘ living room ! Now I’ve just bought this so I have not gone through a winter and tried the heat pump on it but so far I’m very impressed with this product !

Whynter 14,000 BTU (12,000 BTU SACC) NEX

I absolutely love this unit! I've only had it a few days and it arrived just in time before this July 4th heat wave! This unit cools, heats, and is a dehumidifier. It's extremely quiet and the wifi features and remote are top notch!

First portable AC was a success

I can’t speak to other units but this was my first experience using any kind of portable AC. Set up was extremely easy and it got to work immediately! I’m sort of insane and like to keep my bedroom at around 64 degrees when I sleep and it does it perfectly!

Amazing, dependable and cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up and definitely getting the job done, able to cool my whole room in just under 15-30 minutes depending on temperatures. It is easy to drain and woukd definitely purchase ba second one for the living room too cool the complete home.

Very Quiet

I've used this AC model for 2.5 years now and I'm still amazed at how quiet it is. We are currently experiencing a heat wave with temperatures above 35c + humidity and even running in high, the majority of the noise is just air/fan noise - you can hardly hear the compressor run. Under normal conditions (it usually gets up to between 28c - 32c here) when set to 'auto' the unit doesn't make any noise at all and it seems to have no trouble keeping the room cool.

Love this portable A/C for a very small loft space

We bought this unit because it did not require draining, we previously had a small unit for the loft space in our A Frame home and it required that we put it up on a pedestal and had a bucket for the unit to drain into - then of course we had to watch and empty it frequently. So we LOVE this unit and the fact that it does not require that, it cools the space down quickly and it's convenient to have the remote control if you are in the other side of the loft too! Highly recommend this unit if you have a small space.

Wow. this works really well

I'm really tired of the summer heat. every year I promised myself to get a an air conditioner. well I finally got one and I only wish I got this years ago. I'm now sitting in cool comfort and can sleep through the night without sweating once the sun comes up. The good part is this doens't stick out of the window like a window unit. There's only a small panel that fits along the window opening. I was told that portables can get noisy, but I guess these newer versions are much more quiet. It's my new best friend this summer.
