Great drive
I woulld give this 5 stars but I have only been using it a few weeks. It is way faster than my olld hdd drives which were noisy and subject to failure

Very messed up hard drive
I received the hard drive in a package and it was totally not secured inside the box. It was bouncing around and no packing to hold it from damage from the jostling around in shipping. TOPTALLY un acceptable. Sent back for refund and never order from Western Digital again.

Works as intended
I purchased this HDD for my Windows PC to serve as a place to store documents and other files I don't need to R/W fast. This is so my SSD can be used to store things like games and such. The HHD works as intended, I have even moved my downloads, documents, videos, and pictures folders to it by using junctions.

Great replacement drive
My laptops hard drive died after several years of use, and I replaced it with the exact same drive, I could not get Windows 10 reloaded, something wrong with the image disk I made when the computer was new, so i just downloaded Ubuntu and burned a install DVD disk, and it fired right up and has been working like a Champ.

Very Fragile
Suddenly stopped working in my seldom used Dell computer -- 2 years old. I've never had a hard drive go bad in ANY computer, let alone a new one
