submitted byVornado Air Family of Brands - 1 month agoBrand expertA: It’ll work if you do plug it into a power strip or a 3 outlet extension cord, for a while….but it will mess it up, mine overheats now when I use the highest heat setting. I plugged mine in to a 3 outlet extension cord. I still use it every night for a fan and white noise and it works fine.

A: The VH204 Heater is a Personal Heater and not designed for whole room heating or noted for heating up specific square footage. Powerful, sleek little heater.
Powerful little heater. Sleek design. Got it for an amazing price on Black Friday & I got the last one on the shelf! It was a steal for $20 - originally $35. Vornado is a quality brand. It heats up my master bathroom quickly & quietly. You can’t go wrong with this baby. Highly recommended.

Perfect for Desk
I bought this heater for my desk area, it gets awfully cold in the office. It is perfect and gives the perfect amount of heat, it is also very quiet.

Tiny but mighty
I had excellent service buying this direct from the company. This tiny heater took only 2 this tiny heater took only 2 hours to raise my bathroom temp from 38 degrees to 65 . I usually only heat the front rooms of my cabin with my woodstove. Mindful of energy costs , I then quickly shower in an unheated bathroom & sprint through the house to dry off by the woodstove. I realized this might be dangerous as I get older & could cause a fall. So I read consumer reports & talked to friends who recommended this company & this model heater ..I was shocked to see its tiny size when it arrived . It's the first winter shower I've had in a warm room. Thank you for this fabulous heater ,it worked really quickly to heat that frigid bathroom.

Good for very small spaces
I use it under my desk at work. I wish it had more than one heat setting though. Doesn’t get quite as hot as I would like but certainly helps keep the work area warmer.

Double Duty
I bought this heater two years ago. My office was cold and I wanted something small and discreet. Well it worked out great then we were sent home yo work due to the pandemic. Fast forward and now this heater keeps my small bedroom just warm enough that I can lower the thermostat all night.

My favorite personal heater.
I have used this fan for over a year. What I love about it is the low-level setting. Most heaters are so hot, they make my hands sweat. I found the low setting to be perfect for my needs. And, of course, it uses less electricity. If I want more heat I can always hit the high switch and it gives quick warming. Great heater. Thank you for creating a heater that is never too hot!

Great useful settings
I now have three of this particular model. Are use one in the living room,in the bedroom,in the kitchen. Perfect for when I don't want to turn on the whole heat system or when I just want the fan to move the air around. They run very quietly. Purchased the first one two years ago. Finally figured out I really could use two more.

What a heater!
I bought 2 thinking 1 wouldn't be enough. I was wrong. I set both on the lowest settings 375 watts. After came back in after 30 min. Room was noticeable warmer. Came back after 2 hrs it was 80 degrees. 12 x 14 room no other heat. I had to turn one off. Turn one up to 750 about 5 am. I saved money not only in buying your heater but in electric bills. Great product!

Heated my 13' trailer
I am pleased that it is capable of heating my 13' trailer adequately while I was traveling this winter. Some nights were below freezing outside. My only problem is that one of the two indicator lights has never worked: an inconvenience, but not enough to return it. It's quiet, affordable and does the job. I recommend it; it delivers what is advertised and more.

Just right
I use this in my cubical at work and it heats perfectly on low. It is very cool to the touch I am getting another for use at home in our bedroom, its cool enough to not have to worry about the dog, or our toddler getting burnt if they touch it. If you're expecting this to heat an entire room you will be disappointed but to heat a small space or part of a room its perfect.

300 Cubic Inch Room
I'm using the Vornado VH203 in an office a bit less than 300 cubic inches (5x6x10). I use it on max setting, and it gets the room comfortable, then I'll either turn it off or switch to the low setting. It takes just a bit of time to heat the whole room; it won't become overwhelmingly hot, but it will be cozy. I use the fan about 3-4 feet away from me for a nice comfortable heat on me. It has a fan, it sounds like a fan, like any appliance that has a fan. It continuously runs, unlike other heaters that turn off after a bit of time. It is decent.

It's ok, but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little heater does a good job if your intention is to use it in a small place (bathroom, office cubicle) but to heat anything more is not feasible. It is a bit loud and rattles and this prohibits me from using it at night but when sitting in my office it just becomes background noise and not too noticeable. The smell is bothersome. I know some plastic items give off a smell when new but this heater still has that smell and should have been aired out. Maybe the heat makes it more prominent??? It's not enough to make you feel icky but it is worth the mention. Also of note, if you intend to move this heater around frequently in a portable fashion the heater will turn off every time. It has a safety switch that turns the unit off when the unit is moved. I assume this is so that if it falls over the heater will turn off so no fire occurs. Overall, the heater is nice in functions properly and is worth the amount paid. As long as you don't expect it to heat a whole room or to be your primary heat source you should not be disappointed.

well built, solid, works like a charm and quiet heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in an office that is always cold, i use this to maintain my body temp and keep it under my desk blowing warm air on me. Its lightweight and sits on a solid base. It puts out enough heat to keep me comfortable. I would recommend this for such uses but have a rowenta for home use and love that heater as it puts out much more heat.
