What’s disappointment . I purchased this as a gift for Christmas , when my sister went to the store to use her gift card , to her surprise it had no money in it. This card had been tampered with and such a scam. Now to get my money back . These cards should be locked up like all the other items.

Bought 3 $100 visa gift card for Christmas gift and when opened front 4 last numbers were scratched off and security code was also scratched off.When they tried to use them they were declined and couldn’t use them.I am very upset never again will I ever buy gift cards and especially from target they were no help.

SCAM & TARGET WONT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY OR HELP YOU RESOLVE
SCAM & TARGET WONT HELP YOU RESOLVE THE FRAUD. My sister tried using her Xmas gc at target ironically and they told her it has no funds. The card had white out at the last 4 digits that you can’t see because they sell them fully packaged in the Xmas cardboard. When I got my sisters text I came to target where I purchase it, mind you I purchased it at the actual register not at the self check out…::. How does this happen. Anyway, the manager said that they have nothing to do with it and the vendor/Visa is the one to contact. She even added, “I have been unable to get Visa on the phone because we have had others with this issue”. I told her and showed her all the negative reviews that have been posted today and yesterday and asked why these cards are still on their sale floor? Who is the general manager that has no common sense to partner with the vendor that comes to target to fill in the cards and ban them from displaying these until they resolve these issues…..

Card was scammed.
I got this for my son for Christmas; it was his "big gift" this year. The card was damaged and drained so useless. The customer service # on the card doesn't have any humans on the other end. The website is a joke. Right now I have no confidence I will get my money back. I really wish I hadn't bought this card. Visa should not make these cards, and Target shouldn't sell them, when they know that tampering is a big issue.

I bought this card as a Christmas present for my little sister. When she opened the card. Four of the 16 digits scratched off the card. The black strip was scratched up. That’s unusable. The card has money on it, but cannot be activated due to the strip being scratched off target is refusing to refund me for the item. I’ve called the third-party. They want me to wait over a month for a replacement card that I just bought yesterday. I highly recommend not buying this card or any of their Visa cards because target will not refund it if your card is damaged.
