Victorinox Climber 14 Function Black Pocket Knife

I have never left a review before but having bought yet another Victorinox Swiss Army knife, this time for my new son in law, I thought it was about time I try to explain why. I have several of my own ranging from sailing knifes to camping and general purpose knives, but I have 2 'climbers' and find them to be small enough to carry around every day without being too bulky and have the most useful tools. The quality is very good and after 30+ years of ownership and regular use, they still work like new. I have bought Victorinox Swiss army knives as gifts for many years, the first one was for my father's 50th birthday 33 years ago, my wife, for all my children and now their partners. They are an unusual gift but always well received and appreciated, my father still carries his with him every day. Personally I have always loved their quality, usefulness and uniqueness and will continue to purchase them when the occasion arises.

My Climber has proved useful several times in the short time I have had it.

Perfect tool

Bought this knife to go with another one I got decades ago. I've already used this several times for a range of activities and dropped it a few times too sadly. But it's tough as nails despite a few unfortunate scars to the beautiful red case sides.

I like the size and color

Love my Climber!! Perfect tool set for everyday, without being too bulky. Keep in my pocket on a clip hanger and is my EDC. I can't believe how much I use this knife, even the corkscrew! Wife and I were in an obscure place in Mexico with a corked bottle of vino and the SAK came to the rescue and got that bottle open. Great all around SAK.
