Typical razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor worked well enough. It had a good hefty weight that felt nice in your hand while you shaved. I didn’t get any nicks while I was shaving. The experience was okay but wasn’t different than some other reusable razors.

Sturdy and well made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great reusable razor! The handle is very sturdy and has a good weight to it. Not plastic and flimsy like other ones. Give a good cut and lasts a long time. I’ve had one in the bathroom for a couple weeks and still doing good.

The most durable Venus yet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person with sensitive skin(excema too), I went through a ton of razors in the past, and I've been a Venus user for years now so I was STOKED to get to try out the Olympic line. The main thing, besides the color of course, that stood out to me was the weight of the razor itself. The Olympic seemed to be on hefty side, and I loved that! You know when your legs are all lathered up when you're getting ready to shave how easy it can be for a razor to glide way too fast and you end up cut because of it?...that's not a problem with this one! It just seems more durable than the previous Venus lines. The shave itself it's great as always! I've never gotten razor burn or a rash at all. I'd most DEFINITELY recommend the Venus Olympic to anyone looking for the right razor!

Different handle for sure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle for the shaver was a little bit heavy. It’s a metal handle. I liked the gold on it. It was ok to hold and use. Venus shavers are a little bit big for me but did leave my skin smooth. It was overall ok for me.

Solid and close shave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Venus has always made an excellent razor and this is no exception. The heavier metal handle makes shaving a breeze. I also appreciate the razor guards on the 5 blades for closeness. I do feel that the cartridge price could be lower, despite this I will continue to purchase.

Super soft and gets all the hair

It’s a nice big handle which I like and gets all my hair off in like one swipe, I definitely recommend. I did see it for sale at target, it is a bit pricey for a razor but maybe because it’s advertised as an Olympic razor?

Close shave
Venus Gillette deluxe smooth gold Olympic razor meets all my needs. The handle is a nice weight. I like the gold color of the handle. It comes with 2 razor head attachments so you don’t need to go get a refill pack right away. The razor heads attach easily and do a nice close shave. I personally like how they different types of razor attachments for different skin types to go with this razor. I personally got this one on sale which was a big reason I bought this one.

Plus the gold design (they made sure to tell you it’s not real gold on the box) makes it stand out from the usual designs.

Easy to use

Heavy Weight Champion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never in a million years would have thought that by making a razor heavier, it would make shaving easier. But I was astounded to discover that the weight of the razor not only makes it easier, it makes it faster and more efficient. I don’t cut myself nearly as much, and the shave feels closer and my skin softer than what would have been with a disposable. I’m now firmly in this camp for life.
