Target refused to help with shipping issue

Chairs arrived scratched and damaged. Due to a serious back injury, I am unable to bring them to a target store or shipping center myself as I can’t lift heavy items. Target offered no help, would not issue a refund, partial refund, or a store credit, and I am stuck with damaged items. Customer service should be much better.
