Q: what are the 4 modes

A: Thank you for your question. This fixture actually has 5 available modes the light can be set in: Test, Off, Auto, PC & 3 Hour. "Test" mode will allow the light to operate both at night and during the day. "Off" mode will turn on only at night when motion is detected after the motion stops, the light turns off. "Auto" mode will turn on only at night to a low level brightness. When motion is detected, the light will turn on to full brightness then after the motion stops, the light will revert to a low level brightness. "PC" mode will cause the light to turn on at full brightness at dusk then turn off automatically at dawn (motion has no effect on this mode). "3 Hour" mode will come on at full brightness and stay on bright for 3 hours then after 3 hours, it will revert to the same settings as the "auto" mode.
