I love these lights! they are not as bright as I would like, but I have other good kitchen lighting. These lights provide the WOW factor, I was looking for. my granite has a blue streak in it, that matches the lights. Also, one fixture does not hang correctly, at first it really bothered me. Then I embraced it! It reminds me that the world is not always perfect. And I think I'm the only one who ever notices it. I would highly recommend these fixtures. I wish they made a larger over the table matching fixture, with better light.

PRIM AND PROPER .. BEAUTIFUL all by itself.

First the good, these lights are beautiful when not turned on and once I found a bulb that worked for us they are beautiful turned on. Next, the ok, they are very dim. They do not cast good light onto the island and are good for mood lighting but not much of anything else. My old lights I could turn on and eat or do prep work at the island, not so with these. I have to turn on the can lights in the kitchen in order to have enough light to do anything at the island. The bad. The glass is not blown remotely close to evenly so the wimpy little gaskets mean there is not an even gap between metal and glass. I am on the lookout for new, thicker gaskets to make that more even. I understand hand blown but the level of difference from one side to the other is a bit ridiculous, especially given the cost of these lights. They are beautiful so I am keeping them as I have plenty of light sources around and can fix the crooked hanging problem but if you are looking for something to use as task lighting or don't want to deal with potentially crooked light fixtures probably better to try something else.

I bought 2 pendants. One for the kitchen and one for the staircase. I hope the other pendant is more blue than green. The pendant in the staircase is exactly what we wanted ( there was a small chip on the bottom but can't see it because of height). We didn't return for chip for several reasons- hassle of mailing back and actually didn't see it at first so decided not to return for another. I didn't see any pendants similar at other websites-it makes a statement-it's a good size- small basketball!
