Christmas crockpot meatball disaster
These are not the same quality as the Archer Farmers turkey meatballs we have used for years for a crockpot recipe. They seemed off from the beginning, were breaking apart when simply trying to stir the dish while heating and looked green on the inside. The consistency when they should have been ready to consume was pure mush, they weren’t meatballs in the least after being warmed. Either this was a bad batch or these were mishandled somewhere in the supply chain between the supplier, the store and us. I would not recommend these to anyone.

I put them in the crockpot for 4 or 5 hours on low with a bottle of apple cider vinaigrette dressing, a can of cranberry sauce and 3/4 of a cup of brown sugar with a generous shake of chives and parsley. Everyone loved them.

Will never buy again!
Pretty terrible. Bought for our favorite Christmas Eve holiday meatball dish (because I recently can no longer eat beef meatballs due to digestive issues) and ended up throwing them all out. They were complete mush that fell apart with stirring and had a very strong, horribly gamey smell. No one who tried them could stomach them. What a waste of money!

Okay, but NOT loving the $1.50 price increase!
These are okay meatballs. I like that the turkey has less fat than the other types of meats. Other than that though, they are a bit homogenous, and I easily tire of the flavor. But they heat up FAST (just 1 minute in the microwave for a serving) so they are great when I am not feeling well. I don't think these would hold up to being cooked in a sauce, but I have personally not tested that method. My biggest complaint is how they raised the price $1.50. That is a HUGE increase, for the "just alright" product it is. I'm glad they make it, but they should at least improve it to justify that kind of price increase. It feels like a very greedy move in a time where people are struggling.
