Q: Can the light and fan be wired separately? I am replacing a fan that has wiring already established with two wall switches

A: Hi there, The fan, as delivered, is made to connect with a remote (that can be mounted on the wall). The fan may be able to be wired into a switch, but may not be controlled by the wall switches except in an on/off capacity. An electrician might be able to give more insight into different applications, but it is made to be used with the remote. --UA Customer Care
