Book Synopsis
From supermodel-turned-coder Karlie Kloss comes a joyful tale about coding brought by the celebrated Kode with Klossy program, perfect for future engineers and technology change-makers!
Kelly Kent loves spaghetti, and computer programming! So she's more than ready to help Chef Amato build a pasta-making machine to create the perfect bowl of spaghetti for his new restaurant.
But when Chef can't stop adding features to her coding machine, they end up with a tangle of "spaghetti code". Kelly must unravel the code and fix the machine -- with your help!
Follow Kelly and her sidekick, Gadget, as they go on a coding adventure to make the perfect bowl of spaghetti in this inclusive stem-based picture book from supermodel and founder of Kode with Klossy.
About the Author
Karlie Kloss is a supermodel, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She has graced dozens of Vogue covers and led campaigns for major fashion brands around the world. Now through her Kode With Klossy program and the Gateway Coalition, she champions gender equity through STEM education and healthcare.
Remi Jose is an author-illustrator from Pearl City, Hawaii. She is particularly drawn (wink wink) to stories that celebrate diversity, community, and the wonder of our natural world. She expresses herself through vibrant colors, rich textures, and silly goofy characters! When she isn't drawing, you can usually find Remi surrounding herself with anything and everything green, being a little paparazzo for her friends and family, or spoiling her fur babies: Pepsi, Roonie, and Cooper.
Vicky Fang is the author of the Layla and the Bots chapter books series, the Best Buddies early reader series, the I Can Code board book series, and the picture books Invent-a-Pet and The Boo Crew Needs You!. She is also the author-illustrator of the Ava Lin series, the Friendbots series, and AlphaBot. A former Google product designer, she now writes and illustrates children's books full-time. Vicky Fang loves spaghetti.
