Nice Rug

Lackluster
This runner is a disappointment. It's dull brown and flimsy and looks very worn and distressed - in an unintentional way. If you need a runner for a high traffic area and don't mind one that lacks aesthetic, this might work for you. I'm giving it 2 stars as opposed to 1 because the dimensions are spot on.

Runner brightens a dark hallway
The runner looks very nice in the narrow hallway to the bedroom and bath. It is soft under foot and brightens up a somewhat dark space, while protecting the wood flooring underneath. Another comment referred to jute having a bad smell, but there was no smell at all from this rug. It's lovely!

It stinks
The rug is very pretty and is true to the picture, but it stinks a lot! That's why I gave it 3 stars. I had to return it as it kicked in my allergies and the smell would not go away!
