NOT AS HOPED

Absolutely gorgeous rug, but mine shows wear and tear after being on the floor for only a couple of weeks. It was delivered Sept 8th, today is Sept 27. I held off putting it down on the floor for at least a week. I have the more expensive, Everyday Performance, pad under it. I am a mature adult, no children, no pets. Where I sit, with my feet off the rug, there is a noticeable change in pattern definition, color intensity, as well as a flattening of the pile and pad. As an aside, the pile is NOT 3/4 inch as advertised. Would I recommend this rug? I can't.
