Way smaller than advertised

I was SO excited for my new wreath so I probably won't return it. But it's not worth the price even on sale for $40. It measures JUST over 12" (the entire diameter, not just the base) so it's nowhere near the 18" as advertised. I was so excited for a big wreath and it's far from that. Is also looks way cheaper in person- the flowers are a cheap shiny plastic and it smells SO bad but hoping that will go away after a few days (I can smell it a few feet away from the door).
