Better way to carry the kid

This is really making a difference when bringing the baby out. Much easier than just carrying with arms against chest or on shoulders. This is well made and stitched together good. Good amount of room to carry other things too.

    Really nice feeling; seems sturdy

Haven't tested this with the new baby yet (niece), as she's not due to arrive until May. I really like the feel of it, as it's not a "carrier" per se, but more of a support brace/belt. You have option with how to carry little one until they're a bit older - which is great. My littles loved being in their full carrier, but something like this that just supported them under their booty would have been awesome. I do see some reviewers disappointed that there is no way to secure the child - I see their point as the description says "baby carrier" when it's actually a "hip seat". Lots of great support for whomever carries your kiddo. Straps are nice and wide and the crisscross back is a design that I find to be supportive and comfortable. Gave it 4/5 stars due to misguided description and some variance in weight maximums (product info details states up to 33 lbs., title of item shows upwards of 60)

    Good

Wish it had removable straps to secure baby/double as a carrier. Otherwise it’s good

Comfortable and Versatile Carrier with Hip Seat

I love this carrier because it is very comfortable and versatile. It has a detachable hip seat that can support my toddler's weight and reduce the pressure on my back and shoulders. It also has six different carrying positions that can suit different situations and preferences. The fabric is soft and breathable, and the straps are adjustable and well-padded.The carrier also has multiple storage pockets and a bottle bag, which are very convenient for carrying essentials. The carrier is easy to put on and take off, and it has a safety buckle and velcro for extra security. My toddler enjoys being in this carrier and I can carry him for a long time without feeling tired or sore. Love it its super easy to cary my kids in it without feeling pain.

    Toddler carrier

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect with this carrier, but I was pleasantly surprised. The material seems like it's very good quality and I don't really worry about it ripping at a seam or anything of the like. It's very lightweight and it really saves your arms and does a really good job at distributing the weight with the cross strap design. The straps are wide so I don't feel like they're digging in to my skin. I do want to warn all of the really slim ladies, I'm a size 4 and as you can see in my photo of the back side, I had the belt strap buckle as tight as it would go. If you're any smaller than myself that buckle won't be doing you any good. However, the inside of the belt is also secured by very strong Velcro that can accommodate a much slimmer waist than my own, so it could still work for you. It would just be that the back buckle really wouldn't be giving you much added security, which I'm honestly not sure is even necessary unless perhaps you are using it for a child closer toward the upper end of the weight limit (I tried it only with 12 lbs so that would be hard for me to judge). But overall it is very nice and overall I am pleased with it.

    Finally, side support straps!

I really like this carrier. I wanted a hip seat style one to perch the baby on, but I was very disappointed by the ones without straps because it makes the base of the seat dig into my hips. This one is a winner not because of the shoulder straps per se, but because those shoulder straps clip into the seat portion, so it is perpetually pulling the seat flush against you (making it more comfortable). I do wish that there were a track on both sides to keep the strap pulling laterally rather than obliquely (works on the left because you can thread it under the pocket, but that helpful strap-guiding pocket does not also exist on the left), but it is still a very good seat. I like the addition of the water bottle pocket, and the zip pocket in the front of the seat is a good stable phone holding pocket you can easily access. I do wish that it came with a stretchy band or something to go around the baby just as an extra hold. However, I still give it five stars as the best of its kind that I've tried.

    Great for plus size

My 2 year old is HEAVY but too big for a normal baby carrier. After lugging around for a bit, it can be tough on my arms. This has been so helpful to hold her and have the weight dispersed instead of just on my hip and arm.

    I like it

This is very helpful for toddlers and newborns. I also use it to help support my kids. It uses the sturdiness of my waist and shoulder straps to help support him without having to use all my arm strength to do so, helping to distribute the weight well. I can hold my baby easily

    I love the straps

I love how this hip carrier has straps. It feels so much more supportive than others I have tried. It holds up my daughter well and it is pretty comfortable.

    SUNVENO Baby Hip Seat Carrier

This is so amazingly helpful with a newborn and a toddler in tow. I can comfortably carry the baby without worrying about my little one. I have also used it to help support my toddler while I was walking around pushing the baby. It uses the sturdiness of my hips to help hold her up without using all of my arm strength to do it. I have wanted one of these for a while and am very glad I got one!

    Cool carrier

I really like how versatile this carrier is. You can use just the seat section and have it on your side if you want. Or you can use the strap attachments on your shoulders.Very comfortable and easy to use. Perfect for my chunky one year old. Definitely saves my arms when needing to be out holding him for a long time.

Hip carriers for the win for babies that don't like to be strapped down

My 1 year old doesn't like to be strapped down so this hip carrier was a hit with me. I place him on top of the cushion seat that supports him really well and he is content. Felt kind scary at first because he would move around and there is nothing to strap him down. I like this over the carrier's that completely covers him. I should be able to get another 2 years of use out of this before he turns 3. The quality is high and the safety material puts my mind at ease. There is a certificate for the material too so that tells you that it is made with care. All three strap has mounting clips. Love how they have 3 storage pockets. The shoulder harness is removeable and you can use just the hip carrier by itself. This is the closest I've seen to the other brand that pretty much has the same function but cost less.

    cool clip feature

I thought the clip feature on this was very unique and helped disperse the weight nicely. They seem sturdy but I am not familiar with this type of clip to know how itll last with wear and tear and you'd need these clips in order to use it. It was nice to use, but seemed a bit wide and uncomfortable for our 4 month old, so we will wait till hes bigger to use it regularly. You do need to hold them while they are on this but saves your arms for sure! Especially in environments like the zoo or a parade where they may want to be held and your hands are available to hold them, but could hurt your arms long term. The quality of the seat seems great but I am not sure it aligns with the current price of $80.

    Helps my back

I watch kids and this is great on my back for the days the babies just want to be on my hip . You still have to hold them but not so much weight on arms.

    Feeding position works best

While I agree with another person stating that there is no real way to “secure” baby, it is a more comfortable way to hold baby while protecting your back. You still need to hold and secure baby, but it’s much more comfortable to use this travel brace when you’re in a pinch. The feeding position is most comfortable and most stable. The fabric is well made, and the straps are very comfortable with breathable fabric. I would still recommend it, just keep in mind it’s meant for travel.
