About the Author

Mandy Silverman founded Mandylicious Challah out of her home in Sharon, MA, in 2013. In addition to selling challah and teaching classes, she shares her recipes and tips on her popular Instagram account, @mandyliciouschallah, to support others who want to make their own challah and babka. To date, she has created almost 500 unique challah and babka recipes. Drawing wisdom from her own missteps to craft a simple and approachable recipe, and fearlessly combining it with an array of flavors, she has brought the art of crafting challah to a new generation of bakers, igniting a vibrant resurgence of this time-honored tradition. Mandy spends much of her days responding to messages from people who are having "challah emergencies" or seeking advice, and particularly enjoys the time she takes almost every Friday to feature the pictures of her followers' success stories in her Instagram stories.
