[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be the coolest light set I have ever had. I have the starter set and placed it on my mantle under greenery and it is spectacular. I downloaded the Twinkly app and now have so many options for color and effects. I also can create a design with the flexible tube and pair it with my own unique effect even having the option of creating my own effect using my finger as the paint. Twinkly flex tube is the perfect addition to spicing up my Christmas mantle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter wanted these to use in her bedroom as a nightlight. She mounted them to her headboard. The adhesive strips that came with the light strip weren’t quite strong enough (we didn’t want to make screw holes in her headboard) so she used a Command strip to support most of the weight. She loves that she can change the colors and patterns with the app on her phone, but she hasn’t been able to connect the lights to her Wi-Fi. The built-in Wi-Fi works fine.

The lights were very easy to put up and I appreciate that they provide you with pre-drawn sheets that assist with creating different designs that I absolutely would not be able to do on my own. If you have an electric drill, I’d recommend using that to speed up the process of putting the mounts on the wall. I chose the “love” design and it looks great at night. I didn’t care to connect the lights to my Bluetooth but I’m sure the younger individuals would love this feature. The tube is sturdy yet flexible and there is more than enough extension on the cord for placement higher up on the wall. This would be great as a Christmas gift considering it being an upcoming holiday.

At 6.5ft Twinkly Flex Tube lights have so many customization via the app. You can change the colors to your preference or use the preset colors. The lights have effects as well. Control with Google assistants, Alexa and even works with Razer Chroma. Interesting for gaming! They are a very high quality tube that is very bendable so they’re very easy to manipulate without damaging the leds. It comes with a 4 templates so you can easily set up the lights or you can use them to your liking! They do have mounts that need to be screwed into a wall to hold the light up. It comes with everything needed to achieve this. This can be a con as once you put up the light there isn’t an easy way to change the style/shape or placement. They don’t get warm to the touch in my experience with them. They are very bright and have super vibrant color. Very pleased!

The one major thing that sets this product apart is the fact that it connects to WiFi instead of Bluetooth allowing for almost instant response when changing colors on your phone. Also, the flexibility compared to normal “strips” is unmatched. Absolutely wonderful!

I love thAt I can control the colors and especially love that I can shape it into all kinds of different art. So easy to set up and I can change it all from my phone. Display it on my wall today and hang from the ceiling tomorrow. It's so modern and sleek. A Christmas tree today and A heart this evening. A conversation piece no matter who walks in the room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The twinkly flex 6.5ft lights are a very neat product. The instructions are simple: create a design for the flexible lights and hang them up. There is an app to help create light designs, which is a very fun addition. The package comes with 4 design patterns (cactus, Christmas tree, love, and music note). These design patterns help map out the design and tells you exactly where to drill your holes. Now, I don’t really think I’ll use any of those patterns. They really aren’t very interesting to me. I like the Christmas tree but you have to drill into your wall to hang these lights and I have no desire to leave a Christmas tree up all year around or fill holes each time I take it down. I might try and find a good use for this product where I don’t need to drill holes. I also think this would be a fun addition to a baby’s room. The different color options make this a really fun product. I tried to map out maybe a cloud of a baby room but it’s really hard to do because the flexible lights are pretty stiff. I think when hanging this product you would need to do a lot of planning and hopefully drill your holes in the correct spot. Overall, these flexible lights are really fun and simple enough to use. The amount of customizations you can make is pretty overwhelming but if you’re a creative person you’ll have a blast. I can’t wait to see what designs we come up with.
