The polyester mesh fabric is exceptionally breathable, allowing air to flow through freely, keeping you from overheating. Closer.

I love that it is sized for smaller heads. Huge win. I also love the low profile (aka not a trucker hat). However, the hat itself is a little see-through making it look kinda dumb (I bought the neon yellow color, not sure if color matters). The velcro adjustable strap is not double sided velcro. If you need to adjust it significantly it will not stick to itself.

Race Day Men's Running Hat

The hat fits my head perfectly. I had a black and white, needed a navy and the other color was red. DO NOT LIKE THE RED COLOR. But I love that the hats are cool and fit me well.

Love these hats

These hats are the best. I wear them when working out whether lifting weights or running. They are super comfortable, really absorb sweat and do not make me feel hot by wearing them. I also wash them every day and they still look like new. I throw them on just as a regular hat when I go out too, again, very cool and comfortable. 5 stars all the way for me...

What I wanted

My hat

I like the material, and generally like the hat, but my head is small so there isn't a lot of adjustment to make it small enough. The velcro barely hangs on.

Love the hat, Great customer service

Great hat and even better company!

The hat looks great, feels great, and works perfectly during a run. Just wearing it will probably lead to multiple PRs, although I have no scientific data to back this claim. I ordered my hat in the evening and the next morning I noticed I ordered the wrong color. I sent an email to TrailHeads hoping it wasn't too late and sure enough they fixed my error and sent me the color I wanted. Excellent customer service!! THANKS!

never thought a hat could be this good

Just needed a running hat, this performs well and even gets compliments. I've bought 4 of them...1 flew off my head and got lost, 1 died in a fire, the 3rd I still own in gray but I wanted a hi viz color. Tried a different brand to mix it up, but had to go back to TrailHeads!

Good hat but not worth the hype.

Pros: Love the feel of how it fits on my head. Does a better job of wicking away sweat than other running hats I have tried. Black underside it nice. Light. Good quality material. Cons: The velcro to adjust it is poorly done. Its one sided velcro so if your need to adjust it significantly big or small you are out of luck. Other Velcro hats I have stick on both sides of the velcro. The hat was almost too big for me to be able to wear it. It was too big for my friends head. Also, the holes are too much and make it see though. Smaller holes and more of them would be ideal so it doesn't look so see thru. Overall: It was a better hat than most of the cheap running hats I have had. Not my favorite though.

Great for Most - Not for some

This cap will keep you cool and comfortable... That is if you have a sunblocking layer of hair. The material pattern is dotted with a sparse weave allowing in sun rays, thus not at all suitable for bald or crew cuts. I have never encountered a "see through" cap like this.
