I simply love these gloves. I've had a pair for several years, then I lost one & ended up scouring the internet to find another identical one. I rarely use the thumb part (only when it's really cold), but it is practical. However, I'm constantly switching between the mittens & fingerless in the winter. My original pair must've been worn hundreds of times, & the new ones have already had good use last winter. They're carefully designed to be super practical & as someone who suffers with cold fingers with a medical condition, they're just perfect. I wouldn't wear anything else for everyday winter wear.

Perfect for hikes!
I'm not a runner, but wanted something for hiking that would provide warmth but be easy to adjust as I warm up mid-hike. These provide the perfect level of warmth, while having easy finger access for all those fine motor trail tasks (phone checking, button/zipper handling, snack opening :). I agree on the temperature ratings and will probably be back for the insulated mittens for my even colder hikes! I also appreciate the use of Repreve and will always support companies using recycled materials - thank you TrailHeads!

I Love these gloves. I am a runner and have searched for many years for the perfect glove. I bought a pair of these gloves a few years ago for my running partner and she loved them so much that I had to get my own. I won't run in the winter with anything else on my hands! I run in KS so we can get some pretty cold weather and these are perfect for keeping my hands toasty warm. Plus, if they get too warm, I can just pop the mitten part off and let my fingers get cooled down. I recommend these on my blog every year to my readers and in my live videos becuase they truly are the best gloves on the market! KUDOS to the team for developing these!

I recently moved to a colder mountain climate. I have already used these gloves for running, hiking and around town. The ability to reveal fingers is critical for dog walking, phone use, and just popping in a store without bothering to take the gloves off. I also like the ability to connect the gloves when not in use by clip or magnet. While hand size doesn't always correlate to body size. I am a petite woman and a small fits just right.

I purchased these gloves last fall for my upcoming winter runs and I couldn't be happier! This is actually my second pair, I ended up having quite a fall and scrapping my knee and my hand a bit with my original pair. I would say that it would have been worse for my hand had I not had these gloves on, lol. While I don't think they are "fall proof", they defiantly are great if you do! I'm really pleased with them, they fit great and are warm! I love that they are made from recycled plastic, saving the environment a little at a time and I appreciate the personalized thank you message on my receipt. Love this company and their products!

Best gloves ever
I'm on my third pair as I used them to work out with outside!! Now I wear them for walking the dogs, long walks on those brisk days with a cup of coffee in hand!! Easy access to free up the fingers to answer the phone!! My only wish would be to have a magnetic hold for the fingers instead of tucking them in.😋

Does the job
Great for walking the dog or errands where I need my hands. I've worn these in temperatures as low as 31F and my hands stayed at least warm enough for a 25-30 minute walk. I'm not sure how they do in wet or colder conditions. I was a little bummed that only the thumb hole has a magnet. I was hoping the finger pocket had a magnet as well. They do a good enough job at least for walking the pups.

Love these convertible mittens!
I discovered these convertible mittens a couple of years ago, and they are fantastic! I even just bought another pair to have for whenever the original ones wear out - even though they show no signs of doing so. They are perfect for dog walking (where having the thumb flap is essential for not getting training treat residue all over them!), and any other activity where a bit of dexterity is needed. They are plenty warm even in cold temps!

Warm and Practical
I was gifted a pair of these mittens for Christmas years ago and sadly lost one - however I kept the other one JUST so I could remember the brand to buy them again. As someone who likes to take a lot of phone photos while out adventuring (and never had luck with the "touchscreen gloves") this is the perfect convertible mitten so I can still take photos and texts without having to take the mittens off. They aren't too bulky but are still quite warm for how thin they are. I'm very happy I got to buy a new pair! My only complaint is that I have SUPER small hands. I'm used to having wear things that are a little big, but it would be nice if there was a XS size. However, honestly it really doesn't bother me that much.

Nice gloves!
I really like this type of gloves for dog walking and winter camping, and needed to replace an old pair (different brand) that I had. I have small hands and the size S/M worked for me. The are comfortable and warm enough for moderate cold. Any colder that around 20 degrees and I'd need heavier mittens/gloves. The only drawback is that the thumb piece is a little fiddly to get fully closed when you want to cover your thumbs, however I like that you CAN fully cover your thumbs if you want to.

Awesome mittens
These convertibles are awesome… keeps my fingers warm but when I need to do something (like clip the dog into her leash or get dog treats out of my pocket) I just flip the cover off my fingers -don't have to take my whole glove off (and find a place to put it so they don't drop in the snow and get all wet) … I wear these ALL THE TIME . I was concerned they might not be warm enough -and I do wish there was a heavier version- but it's easy enough on cold days to put a little hand warmer in the finger cover flap. I've recommended these convertibles to all my friends… it's so great to see so many of them wearing them!

Great for Walking the Dog
I really like the convertible option, so I can leave my non-leash hand in mitten mode when it's cold out. It takes a couple of tries to neatly tuck in the finger convertible part into its pocket, or you can leave it partially tucked. The thumb easily stays open with a magnet. My hand length is just into the M/L size, but because only the S/M was in stock, that's what I ordered: perfect fit.

I love these flip-top mittens - I use them for temps in the mid-30s to 40s (you might be able to use them in colder temps, my hands get cold really quick). The thumbs have magnets when used in the flipped-up position - wish the main part of the mitten had a magnet to keep them flipped up. I use them when walking the dogs - a magnet would make flipping them back much easier than tucking them in - especially when I have leashes in my hand. I'd be willing to pay a couple of bucks more to get a magnet to hold the main part of the mitten back.

Convertible Mittens for Women
I love them! I am a portrait photographer and went I am out shooting in the winter cold the mittens offer me the warmth I crave and the dexterity I need to release the shutter button on my camera. I just remove the thumb tip on the mitten and I'm good to go!!! Thank you TrailHeads for manufacturing the Convertible Mittens for Women!
