Q: Is this phone is unlocked? Can someone use in foreign country ?
A: No. It’s locked to total wireless. After three consecutive months of active service, which cost $40 a month, total wireless will automatically unlock the phone. Once the phone is unlocked, it will work on any network.

Q: If I want to gift this phone and their server is cricket, would they be able to take this phone for them (cricket) to start it up?
A: They’d have to have total wireless service for 90 days ($40 USD a month). After 90 consecutive days, total wireless will unlock the phone, and it can be used with cricket.

Q: I updated my iphone SE to a iphone 13, I've had Total Wireless service over two years. Do I still have to wait 60 days for it to be unlocked?

Q: Will the locked phone work on another Verizon network?
A: After 90 days of continuous service, total wireless will unlock the phone. Then the phone can be activated on Verizon. But to be honest, it is cheaper than Verizon and uses the same technology/ towers. I decided just to stick to total wireless and canceled my Verizon post paid service.
