The quality of this unit is poor. It is all cheap engineered wood that easily chips. I don’t often write reviews but because this didn’t have reviews when I purchased it, I hope this will help others to not consider this option. Assembly was time consuming and it took about two hours to put together with two people because of how difficult the particle board type back pieces are that have tiny grooves that need the be placed in with pegs. The instructions had errors and some of the pieces were not labeled which made it difficult to match correctly to the pictures shown. It arrived in two boxes, and one of our boxes was damaged and two of the pieces that go on the back of the unit had broken corners. It’s also worth mentioning that the middle shelves are not as deep as I had assumed and are actually kind of an odd size to be able to hold/store anything. Do no plan on hanging anything more than a light jacket on the hooks because the backing is thin particle board and will not withstand anything heavier.. One of our hooks was broken as well.
