Q: What is the minimum height clearance needed under the tree for this to fit?

A: The tag on the multicolor one says it’s 11.5 inches high, when I measured, it’s 12 inches. The branches on my tree sit right on top of the collar. You would need at least 12 inches under the tree for this to fit.

I was looking for a Christmas tree collar that would be classic and last years to come. This is not it. It is easy to roll and store but will not last. The fringe will not store well year after year and it already looks cheap. If you’re doing a tinsel tree this year this would be a great accessory but will not last the trends or the storing needed.
