About the Author

Michael Pendley is a University of Kentucky graduate who lives in Willisburg, Kentucky, with his wife Cheryl, two teenage sons, and daughter. He's a freelance outdoor writer who has written for The Federalist, Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, Conservative Review, Gun Digest, Petersen's Hunting Magazine, and others.
